A wide range of people can apply for grants, for example:
• Teachers at a Greek Community (learning Greek dances, Greek culture, Greek History etc); • Staff involved in helping/ supporting Greeks abroad to integrate to their host countries; • Volunteers who work with organizing cultural and educational initiatives for people of Greek origin; • Heads and managerial staff of institutions/ organizations (NGOs, Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Research Centres, Public organizations, Universities, Vocational Training Centres, Trade Unions, Group of companies, a private enterprise, publishing Houses, libraries, NGOs etc) providing adult learning opportunities to people, including people of Greek origin; • Counselors or career advisors (who also wish to work with Greeks); • Inspectors or advisors in the field of language teaching; • Teachers in a primary or secondary school; • Staff working with persons at risk, for example, mediators, who wish to learn a new language and add it in their working languages; • Staff involved in intercultural adult education or working with migrant Greek workers; • Staff working with adults of any nationality with specific educational needs • Qualified and practicing teachers of Greek as a foreign language; • Trainers of foreign language teachers; • Teachers re-training as a foreign language teacher; • Unemployed adult educators / those wishing to reintegrate into adult education after an interruption- and wishing to extend the languages they speak in order to find work • Adult educators in any field and the trainers of such educators (providing that their adult education institution has Greeks as actual or prospective clients) • Additional categories of adult education staff at the discretion of national authorities
